January 21: Watercolor Demo with Nina Robishaw
Monday, January 21, Nina Robishaw will treat us to a demo of her watercolor technique.
Nina is a fine artist. She was a high school art teacher in the Akron Public School system for a long time and is an exhibitor at our HSA Art on the Green. She also teaches art classes at Rockynoll.
Besides being very talented, she has a warm and friendly personality, and her demo will be a real treat.

News from Gretchen Bierbaum
The first National Collage Society
Signature member exhibit will be held at the Mesa Art Museum in Arizona. The
reception is Jan 25th in Mesa, AZ, where HSA members, Jan Noden and
Gretchen are exhibitng their collages.
This is a special
event in the continuing centenary celebration for collage as a fine
art. The first collage was created by George Braque in October, 1912
in France where he shared a studio with Picasso. Arizona became a
state in 1912 so it is an appropriate location for this event.

52 Works.
Diane
Seskes, Sandy Holata, Chris Morrow, and I will be exhibiting our
photography at St. Paul's Gallery in Akron, March and April 2013.
