Apr. 21 -- Marianne Hite -- 7:30 PM
Marianne is a glass artist and will talk about her recent work. She is a popular instructor at the Peninsula Art Academy.
In Marianne's words: "I love working with glass because I feel as though I'm painting with light as well as with color. Glass lends a certain quality to the light emitted through a piece that nothing else can duplicate."

April 23 - Sandro Bonaiuto - Akron Society of Artists
Akron Society Of Artists would like to invite members from the Hudson Society of Artists to a program on the 23rd of April.
Sandro Bonaiuto will present at 7:30 pm at the Summit ArtSpace third floor studio, 140 E. Market St.
Sandro Bonaiuto, born in Cleveland, Ohio, has lived and studied in Italy since 1965. In Bologna, Italy he studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts, as well as in Rome and Florence. He received a commission from the city of Florence to create a sculpture of the “Holy Family” which the city presented to the Pope in 1984. Locally, his commissioned works are on view at St. Mary’s Church in Hudson, and at St. Mary’s Church, Cleveland.
The sculptor’s work has been admired and reviewed in public and private collections in Europe and America. The majority of his work is in terracotta and marble.
Sandro will speak on artistic inspiration and his background in the arts. He will have two of his pieces on hand to view.
