Pam Daum

I just received word that my Ghost Ranch series of Polaroid manipulations will be showcased this fall in the Room With a View exhibit at the Ohio Building in Akron.

Funded by an artist’s grant, I spent the first two weeks of June photographing in the midi region of France. Tres magnifique!

I am 1 of 16 artists whose artwork was juried into the Farm Art – From Plate to Palate exhibit, held from June 6 – August 26 at the John F. Seiberling Gallery in Peninsula.

My photos are also on display in the Women in Art show at St. Francis Care in Hartford, CT, running from June 21 – August 31.

Two of my photos were selected for inclusion in the 50 Over 50 Visual Arts Show, held August 7 – 31 at Laurel Lake.

My photos are on exhibit at The Downtown Gallery in Kent as well.

Mina Huang, Ann Kah, Susan Birgeles

In mid-June, Mina Huang, Ann Kah and Susan Birgeles traveled to a 3-day paint out at Marblehead, OH with the Ohio Plein Air Society. The weather was marvelous and the organizer had maps and entry passes to marinas, wetlands, lighthouse, etc. for all of us. Everywhere we went we ran into other painters (you can tell them by the multicolored speckles on their clothes). And we made lots of new friends. There was cookout Saturday night where everyone brought the fruits of their labors to display and on Sunday the work was displayed for sale at a local gallery. We had a lovely time and have lots of new stories to tell on each other.

Gretchen Bierbaum

Gretchen Bierbaum had a collage accepted for the 23rd Annual Juried Exhibit for the National Collage Society.

Jan Noden

Jan Noden was selected by a jury to exhibit her collage in the 23rd Annual Juried Exhibit for the National Collage Society. The exhibit will be during September and October at the Cornell Museum in Delray Beach, Florida. Artists need to be in the annual show for three years before you attain Signature Membership. This is Jan's third year so we must congratulate her.
