May 5: Demo at Cliffside Artists Collaborative
Due to scheduling problems at the Barlow Center for Monday, May 5, the Cliffside Artists Collaborative has graciously offered to host our program for that evening.
The CAC is home to The Sargent-Laessig Museum which holds over 400 works of art by renowned North Ohio artists, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and sculpture art. Situated in the heart of a 12-acre old oak forest in Hinckley, Ohio, the Museum is designed to showcase art in a living environment. This is a great opportunity, so bring friends and explore the museums beautiful works of art in harmony with its serene location.
Our guest speaker will be Christopher Leeper. Chris’s work has been featured in several books and publications, and he is the author of “Realism in Watermedia”. Chris is a member and has served as president of the Ohio Watercolor Society. Come improve your painting skills from a qualified instructor as Chris gives a free watercolor demonstration. This promises to be an enjoyable learning experience you won’t want to miss.
