2015 Fall Art Program Schedule

Sept. 21: George Whitten will do an abstract acrylic demo. George is the head of Boston Mills Art Fest and director of the Mansfield Art Center. He was also the awards juror for Art on the Green this year. See more of George's work at http://www.whittenstudios.com

Oct. 5: Bob Moyer will do a watercolor figure painting demo.

Nov. 2: no meeting

Nov. 16: Jack Mulhollen will do a watercolor demo

Tuesday, Dec. 8: Our Christmas dinner and gift exchange. We will eat at 6:30pm.

Programs are held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month, September through May. Join us at the Barlow Community Center, 41 S. Oviatt Street, in Hudson OH at 7:30 PM. Programs are free and open to the public. Guests are welcome so bring a friend!

Our programs consist of a short business meeting (5-10 minutes), followed by a presentation or demonstration by a professional artist. Local artists share their personal techniques and unique perspectives on art. Our upcoming programs for this year are really a treat. All of these speakers are outstanding artists and demonstrators; each program will be truly something not to miss.

Now accepting applications for Art on the Green 2015

Hudson Society of Artists is pleased to announce that the application process for the 35th annual Art on the Green is now open!

The dates for 2015 are:

Saturday, August 29: 10am - 5pm

Sunday, August 30: 11am - 5pm

Entries will be accepted on or before April 1, 2015. 

Entries submitted after the cut-off date will not be accepted.

Due to the inclement weather, our program for Monday, February 2nd is cancelled! Please stay home and keep warm.

We hope to see you on Monday, Feb. 16th for a demo by Paul Adams.

March Members Art Show 2015

Members of the Hudson Society of Artists are pleased to present their annual members art show to be held February 28 - March 28, 2015.

Please join us for a reception on Sunday, March 8th, from 2-5pm.
