2010 Clothesline Show

This year's show was a great success! Special thanks to Shannon Casey for chairing the event and to all who helped make it possible.

Clothesline Show

On June 15th we'll be accepting entries for the Clothesline Show from 5-7 at Barlow Community Center. Note - volunteers are needed you must work one shift in order to be in the show.

Scholarship winner

Owen Moore, winner of the Hudson Society of Artist's 2010 Peg Roby-Lowell Ellsworth Smith Scholarship.


HSA members watch as Jane Reilly presents Owen with the scholarship that he will use to further his studies at the University of Cincinnati this fall.


Owen's parents Pete and Dee Moore joined us for dinner as we honored their son Owen at a banquet provided by members.

Upcoming events

This will be a very busy season!
May 17th we will have a demo by our own Hillary Sheeter.

On June 15th we'll be accepting entries for the Clothesline Show. Note - volunteers are needed you must work one shift in order to be in the show.

Judy does a wonderful service in offering a critique of our work. I recently saw an article on a web based art site on how to 'survive' a critique that you might enjoy.
