Call to Artists

Call to Artists “Political Issues” at PAA – Peninsula Art Academy will be hosting an exhibit entitled “Political Issues”, October 11 thru November 29, 2008. Submissions will be accepted on their political relevance to our current election year. Nothing too outlandish, please, as we are located in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Our own Don Getz, area artist extraordinare, will jury this show. “The challenge to me is to take a traditional subject and use what is there to create an even more fascinating image – my personal statement. (Don Getz).” So, what is this election all about? Please tell us? All media welcomed, suitable for an “open to the public” environment.
